Number 1 Bestseller or Number 1 Movie and Death Wish Coffee

The number 1 best selling book according to New York Times is ...

Where The Crawdads Sing this book has been on this list for sixty six weeks.

The number 1 movie last weekend is...

Jumanji: The Next Level, this movie has only been out for one week and it did not break any box office records. Furthermore it is doomed because tomorrow a new Star Wars Movie is to be released. For a certainty it will dominate the box office.

However, both of the above success stories were overshadowed by the biggest story in entertainment within the last week...

Frozen 2, grossing over 1 billion worldwide!

My question is what motivated people either to read the book or go see the movie?

Or for the last five weeks what causes people to leave their comfortable home to go see a cartoon? Although it is a stunning spectacle a collage of drawings, a dazzling display of well arranged colors, sound effects all arranged to charm the imagination and do not forget the water horse.

These questions should ignite us writers, artist, composers, and all other creators to consider the previous question and the following questions.

Was it advertising? Maybe it is brand recognition? Or possibly word of mouth?

Everyone who writes about how someone or something becomes popular will boast about a particular formula that you must follow to achieve the above success. Others have written about a secret mantra that you must repeat over and over. Still others will tell you to find an influencer, someone who have already opened the doors that stand in your way and all you need is the key. Should I mention the all important link or links you need to social media to drive you to a popularity you have only dreamed about.

I do not disagree with any of the above methods to achieve a number one bestseller or a number 1 movie, perhaps a number one song on the top forty. My recommendation is to try them all, just don’t part with your hard earned money to achieve these milestones. So what should you do...?

Keep writing, keep painting or drawing, keep singing, keep composing, keep playing, keep creating.

If Walt Disney had stopped at his first cartoon character Oswald there would not be a Mortimer and certainly we would never had heard or seen Mickey Mouse.

Do you feel encouraged? I hope so, because if your desire is a number one bestseller, a number one movie, a hit song, or a masterpiece, it first has to exist.

I know what you are thinking. You are thinking; just because I create it, there is no guarantee that it will become popular, well known, for that matter what if no one even wants to read, watch, listen, or drink it.

That is where death wish coffee comes into the equation, at last count 19,665 people have rated and reviewed this coffee. If someone wakes up in the morning and comes to the conclusion that they can make a better cup of coffee and call it death wish coffee. Well you get the point, someone told someone and they told someone, then two people, one of whom does not drink coffee and the other drinks tea, are standing around talking about coffee and reading, laughing and discussing some highly exaggerated reviews. A must read.

Now I would like to introduce my new project, Little Artie and His Treasure Chest of Words.

Like I said keep on creating.
