Number 1 Bestseller or Number 1 Movie and Death Wish Coffee

The number 1 best selling book according to New York Times is ...

Where The Crawdads Sing this book has been on this list for sixty six weeks.

The number 1 movie last weekend is...

Jumanji: The Next Level, this movie has only been out for one week and it did not break any box office records. Furthermore it is doomed because tomorrow a new Star Wars Movie is to be released. For a certainty it will dominate the box office.

However, both of the above success stories were overshadowed by the biggest story in entertainment within the last week...

Frozen 2, grossing over 1 billion worldwide!

My question is what motivated people either to read the book or go see the movie?

Or for the last five weeks what causes people to leave their comfortable home to go see a cartoon? Although it is a stunning spectacle a collage of drawings, a dazzling display of well arranged colors, sound effects all arranged to charm the imagination and do not forget the water horse.

These questions should ignite us writers, artist, composers, and all other creators to consider the previous question and the following questions.

Was it advertising? Maybe it is brand recognition? Or possibly word of mouth?

Everyone who writes about how someone or something becomes popular will boast about a particular formula that you must follow to achieve the above success. Others have written about a secret mantra that you must repeat over and over. Still others will tell you to find an influencer, someone who have already opened the doors that stand in your way and all you need is the key. Should I mention the all important link or links you need to social media to drive you to a popularity you have only dreamed about.

I do not disagree with any of the above methods to achieve a number one bestseller or a number 1 movie, perhaps a number one song on the top forty. My recommendation is to try them all, just don’t part with your hard earned money to achieve these milestones. So what should you do...?

Keep writing, keep painting or drawing, keep singing, keep composing, keep playing, keep creating.

If Walt Disney had stopped at his first cartoon character Oswald there would not be a Mortimer and certainly we would never had heard or seen Mickey Mouse.

Do you feel encouraged? I hope so, because if your desire is a number one bestseller, a number one movie, a hit song, or a masterpiece, it first has to exist.

I know what you are thinking. You are thinking; just because I create it, there is no guarantee that it will become popular, well known, for that matter what if no one even wants to read, watch, listen, or drink it.

That is where death wish coffee comes into the equation, at last count 19,665 people have rated and reviewed this coffee. If someone wakes up in the morning and comes to the conclusion that they can make a better cup of coffee and call it death wish coffee. Well you get the point, someone told someone and they told someone, then two people, one of whom does not drink coffee and the other drinks tea, are standing around talking about coffee and reading, laughing and discussing some highly exaggerated reviews. A must read.

Now I would like to introduce my new project, Little Artie and His Treasure Chest of Words.

Little Artie and His Treasure Chhttps://youtu.be/v3lzjDf-QGkest of Words

Like I said keep on creating.

Write Promote Publish Advertise Sell Market

Are you a writer, promoter, publisher, advertiser, seller, or marketer?

There is one title I left out, but I will leave that to your devising.

My goal here is not to tell you how to write, promote, publish, advertise, sell, or market. There are plenty of articles, posts, commentary, and advice on these subjects. I am merely pointing out six pertinent titles you must have to reach the next level of achieving success in an industry that has exploded from this thing called the internet.

Whether your career involves books, songs, blogging, inventions, super tech, gaming, programming, etc, the follow six titles you must wear can be delegated but not overlooked.

The next few lists are formatted in an odd manner, this is intentional so that your eight second attention span can absorb each thought individually.

Don't mess with me I am writing.
  1. Write because you love writing. End of story.
  2. Promote because you want people to know about what you write. The beginning of the story.
  3. Publish because you want others to read what you write. The story now comes to life.
  4. Advertise what you write. Someone else will tell the story.
  5. Sell because you want to make money from what you write. The story now gives life.
  6. Market because you want people to benefit from what you write. The story now gives life.
  1. Writing can be daunting.
  2. Promoting or Telling can be terrifying.
  3. Publishing can be exasperating.
  4. Advertising can be fleeting.
  5. Selling can be exhausting.
  6. Marketing can be deafening.
  1. Writing – just do it.
  2. Promoting – be enthusiastic- do this before you publish.
  3. Publishing- seek free advice - pay only what is necessary-cover-editing-proof.
  4. Advertising – tell your friends, tell coworkers, tell anyone who will listen, tell the internet.
  5. Selling - Sell Sell Sell
  6. Marketing - Market Market Market
A needle in a haystack or A book in a book stack.

I have read that selling focuses on the needs of the seller whereas marketing focuses on the needs of the buyer. How epic is that thought. If you would like to start a discussion on any of the above lists just leave a comment below.

Ever Tangled With Lightning The Bear and The Storm Coming in 2019

Before my son saw the light of day I read to him or his mom's belly. I would articulate every word when pronouncing words, I made facial expressions as if he could see them, and I added sound effects. When my son was born, nothing changed when I would read to him except that now he could see me and of course I could now see his expressions as I made the story come to life.

As a result my son's vocabulary grew with leaps and bounds, eventually, we could not hide our words by spelling them because he knew what we were spelling, this happened at a very young age, now my son is a super reader, and his vocabulary is very impressive.

As a writer I wanted to pass the gifts of reading and vocabulary on to other children, so when I started writing my first book, I imagined the parent reading my books to their child with enthusiasm and turning every word into an explosive and expressive event. However, teenagers and parents loved my stories but felt they were missing something. The encouragement was unanimous the stories needed to be illustrated.

So, I set out to illustrate the book Ever Tangled With Lightning.

Ever Tangled With Lightning The Original Book

When I would complete a part of the illustration, I remembered how I use to read to my son, and without much thought, I began to animate the main character in the book. Then I added sound effects, narration followed. Then there was the question what if the child could replay a portion of the book whenever he wanted thus enjoying the book via touch, sound, narration, and animation.

This type of interaction would inevitably bring the book to life and if the parent was not able to read to the little child do to a busy schedule, the book although not a substitute for a mother or fathers voice would help the child learn to read and increase his or her vocabulary in the process. One other side effect would result from this type of book, a very active imagination.

One more thing, a little warning for children with over active imaginations.

Creating Active Income A Path To Financial Independence

Creating Active Income A Path To Financial Independence Part 2

We cannot ignore one of the most overlooked pillars of financial independence and yet it boggles the mind how often the tendency to take our hands off the wheel and let someone else drive.

As mentioned in my last post on creating active income a path to financial independence part 1, it was boldly stated that it is your choice.

Many books have highlighted the importance of the relationship between your money and your life.

Many will ask; what money?

You are probably like most people, your money is DOA. That is before you collect your paycheck this hard-earned paper is already spent, it is a puff of smoke.

No use crying over burnt money it has already appeased the altar to which it was slaughtered.

What about the next paycheck, it too has already fallen victim to the thief of prosperity.

If the above analogies have been wasted on your lack of understanding of the portended reasoning. The long and short is the money has already been spent before you even make it.

You need to stop the bleeding, no matter how old you are, no matter how long you have been working you need to stop spending and save more.

Or you can continue to spend like there is no tomorrow and learn a new skill.

You need to learn how to create an active income and then save the proceeds from your new venture.

There it is that awful word save.

And now you are ready for the next video.

Financial Independence Is A Choice Part 2

Active income requires time and patience and work.

IinCmm.com wants to help, however, you have to choose.

This blog has maintained the idea if you can help enough people achieve their dream those individuals will help the creator achieve his goal.
