What about Passive Income? You may ask.

Passive income is the caveat of incomes and who doesn't dream of waking up first thing in the morning to discover while you were sleeping your financial holdings grew by another five thousand dollars. But wait, that is nothing, how about one hundred thousand dollars. The foundation was laid months even years ago, and now you watch the cash flow like unending streams of water collecting its resources from the clouds.

Yep, while you sleep, eat, engage in the novelties of life, your past activities are making you money.

Financial Independence I Want It All.

"Artie, You want to go for a ride?" My grandfather asked.

He had a big smile on his face as he looked out of the driver side window down at me. Then he opened the door.

I did not think about the question. I did not ask, where are we going.? I did not even say let me go and tell my mother. I just jumped up and stepped into the truck and crawled over his lap.

We were about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime.

I felt like a big shot, just my grandfather and me.

He asked me, "Where do you want to go?"

I shrugged my shoulders.

He said, "Let's go to Orange County."

There I was not a care in the world, just as content as a child could be. Imagine how I felt when we got to Orange County.

"You can have anything you want." His offer was quite generous.

For a child, this is a wondrous proposition. I thought to myself anything.

If I knew then what I know now I would have said, "I Want It All."

I ended up with a plywood airplane, the kind that has a rubber band attached to it as the motor, you wind it up and let it go and watch it fly. I also got a paddle and ball, some candy and some ice cream.

To me, that was the captain's wage.

When we got back to my grandparents home, I would show off my priceless gifts to my brothers and sisters and told them about my journey.

Life was so simple back then when you compare it to now.

Now let's bring you back from my journey down memory lane.

What if someone told me today, "You can have anything you want."

What if someone offered you the same enticing offer.

Think, the genie in the bottle, three wishes.

Would not the wheels of disbelief start to turn? Would you not start thinking what is the catch? You would probably quickly dismiss the offer and proceed to distance yourself from the nut job rapidly.

"I am not interested," is the usual response.

Hypothetically speaking, just to satisfy my curiosity what would your answer be. Leave a comment.

Mine would be, "I Want It All."

And yet we settle for a job and a little money when truthfully anything we want is an option.

I get it. It is an equation taught from our youth right through high school and college.

Job equals money, but not financial independence, and for a certainty not "anything you want."

That's just absurd to think that you can have anything your heart desires.

However, consider the alternative, working until you are 67 and beyond for most of us. Why does money not equal freedom, financial independence or what my grandfather offered me, anything I want?

Of course the statement "anything I want" is relative. Even so, whatever your heart desires is way more than the reality you currently experience.

Some of you are not ready for the experience that is financial independence if that is you do not worry. There is something you can do now to prepare for that freedom in the future.

If you are not ready for financial independence, why not start replacing your income today.

What do I mean?

You are going to work every day to offset your living expenses, and we hope that what you make equals your cost of living.

So the equation is, work equals living expenses or cost of living.

Like most people though, you are working for things you do not need, or you are living beyond your means, and everyone knows this type of living will eventually catch up with you.

Either way, both conditions can be replaced with a little determination. Hence replacing your income or offsetting what is taking your hard earned money.

Or, if you want to continue living the same lifestyle, and you just cannot see yourself giving up that latte', or the fancy car, or the big mansion in the sky, then you will eventually have to replace your income by creating another source of income.

The cold equation is your job will likely not let you have all that your heart desires not without the consequences of given all that you already have. Your life.

Working til death, whoever said work never hurt or killed anyone.

So, you either cut your expenses or increase your income.

If you want it all, whatever it is, and do not want another job, you must create another source of income.

There are multiple vehicles you can use to do this, purchase and resale used cars, real estate, or day trading. These are high dollar ways of replacing your current income. You will need to take some classes and read some books, maybe order some online courses.

I know, you are thinking, "Who has time for that?"

Those are my thoughts exactly.

I propose you do something you have always wanted to do.

If you are here because financial freedom is your soul desire and you are looking for the shortcut answer, I have bad news. I do not have the answer for that.

If on the other hand, if you need help getting started, I believe I can help.

Start with the question. What have I always wanted to do? Or What have I always dreamed of doing?

Once you have your answer, I will show you how to turn it into an alternate source of revenue, a digital income using the digital tools we now have at our disposal.

Your Dreams and Financial Freedom

Part 2

Let's talk about why you are here. What made you search for the subjects to which this article refers?

Was it your dreams or was it financial freedom?

I am glad you found us, there are plenty of options and sites to choose. Some are trustworthy, and you can learn a lot from them, but they have moved to the pay to play format. Others will leave you even more lost and discourage and confused than you already are, with less money than when you started.

Are you looking to publish a book perhaps your first novel, or possibly a how-to book? Maybe you are an aspiring songwriter and would like to publish your first song. Then again you probably want to start a blog or podcast to instruct others about a particular service you offer or teach a trade, or launch your invention.

Here is what we can do for you.

1. Provide a definite starting point.
2. Motivate you to move forward with your plan.
3. Show you how all this inter/web stuff work.
4. Not take your hard earned money.

For example, you want to write a book. The chances of you writing and completing your first masterpiece and that masterpiece getting a publishing contract by one of the big publishing companies are not so great.

However, the story just has to be told. You cannot keep it in any longer. Your co-worker tells you to self-publish it, she or he said, "it is easy, my cousins, uncles, brothers, sister did it. Just go online and research self-publishing."

I bet that got you bent and twisted.

The advice you probably received was confusing and expensive.

Now, look back at step one, a definite starting point. Have you written the book? Are you writing the book? Not sure of the first sentence. Sorry, we cannot help you with that.

Do you have a facebook.com account, twitter.com account, or a Gmail account?

If you do, we can show you how to use them as your platform to announce the up and coming work of art. The best part you can do this for free.

The real anomaly is the sites listed above do not charge, you to signup or use their service. Regardless they have been able to amass enormous fortunes.

The proven method of being able to do such a thing is time and people, but you have to utilize both wisely.

Time used productively to learn how to use the tools we have available to us in this age of technology to accomplish our dreams.

Develop relationships with people preferably like-minded individuals that can help share our accomplishments with others.

Using our time and valuable relationships as leverage to achieve financial freedom.

You can try and do this on your own, but the odds and favor are with the many.

Try putting one grain of sugar in your cornflakes, or one grain of salt on your fried potatoes, now tell me does it taste any different.

I usually use three spoons of sugar, and several shakes of salt to get the taste just right.

Again what I will offer you is the know how or knowledge to get you started on a path to achieving your dreams, you help me grow a network of like-minded people who will help each other to achieve their individual goals.

Your Dreams and Financial Freedom

Part 1

If you are like most people, you do not equate your dreams to having or achieving financial freedom.

If you were honest with yourself, you have likely given up on your dreams, and you probably do not even consider being financially free.

Still, surprisingly there is another group who do not dream at all, let alone consider the wild notion of never having to worry about money, bills, debt, housing, food, or the next paycheck.

Consider this, a vast majority of the world is less than poor. I am not talking about not having or being able to afford a new car, a better home, or the latest gadget. I am portending to you that these people do not have enough to eat, or a fresh water supply, and some no home to call their own.

So, in light of the latter group's condition, why should your dreams even matter? After all, you have a job, you do not worry about the next meal, except for what will it be. After work, you will get in your car, complain about the traffic, arrive at your home and the lights will turn on, the tv will provide the right amount of background noise until your favorite show comes on, and you will have a satisfying meal to top it all off, Bon Appetite.

So why do your dreams matter? Because deep down in you are still not satisfied, and every day that goes by is another reminder to you that there is more to life than your bosses insane ideas and his bosses' bottom line.

When you turn on your tv, you see people living their dreams and living a life you can only dream of, to put it metaphorically.

You want more out of life, we all want more out of life. If this is the case, then why do we settle for less?

Is the poor destined or fated to be poor, and are you destined or fated to settle for a middle class to slightly better living conditions?

Finish this sentence. Dreams are what __________ is made of.

If you said life, I would ask you whose dreams, and whose life?

Are you living someone else's dreams someone else's life?

When I was old enough to get a job, this was the age of twelve. I was told to get a job, work hard, and take care of your family.

Good advice right.

I use to think so, but now I wish I was encouraged to follow, chase, reach out for, and achieve my dreams. Perhaps I would not have waited so long to do so.

I remember one time I had a boss tell me "to dream is to live a fairytale, but life has a way of snapping you back to reality." This conversation started with the fact that he wanted me to work overtime, ( I was a cabinet maker, and for a seventeen-year-old, just out of school that would not be a bad career choice ) but I had a part-time job delivering pizza's so that I could chase after my dream. One job paid my bills the other paid for music theory, classical piano and world history courses at the local community college. So, when I explained to him that I had a prior engagement and that I could not be late for my second job, he took offense to my reasoning.

The next words out of his mouth were "do you want to be a successful cabinet maker or a pizza delivery boy."

That's when I said, "I have bigger dreams."

He knew what I dreamed about; I had discussed it with him on many occasions and, on many of those occasions, he would remind me of how dreams are fairy tales and life will always bring me back to reality.

Many people in your life will make the word dream sound like a bad word or taking steps to chase a dream could be detrimental.

The expression dream is not wrong, and to chase after your dream is not harmful, but doing nothing about your dreams can cost you to live a nightmare scenario over and over until you choose to break the cycle.

I recently read an email that used the word unemployable. Usually, this happens when you reach a certain age or have a disability that changes the type of work you use to do.

However, the person who sent me the email used it, to describe his condition after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad. This book is quite the eye-opener.

In 2014 I had to undergo back surgery which changed a significant aspect of my life. For six months to a year after the surgery, I was unable to perform the job that I had done for ten years. Although I tried the surgeon was correct, I would not be able to return to that job until I had fully healed and my body had adjusted to my new condition and height, pun intended.

This condition or disability did not make me unemployable, and my company found me a new job while I healed, albeit the new position was for considerably less pay and some of my benefits were no longer available to me, which further burdened my families financial outcome.

I told you the above story not to make you feel sorry for me because out of that story and those unfortunate events my first novel was completed, and my third book was written and published. Oh, did I mention that I had one of my songs recorded and performed by a very talented artist?

When I completed these long sought after dreams, that's when it happened. I became unemployable. I had tasted the success of finally reaching out for and achieving something that I had dreamed since I was fourteen.

I wanted more than a job, more than a nice car and nice house, more than a good meal. I want to achieve financial freedom by doing what I love.

Over the years I have fought for my dreams, just to lose sight of them, over and over again.

The obstacles are grand the diversions were many, but the taste of success is sweet.

I have now published two more books this year and look to release another song beginning of next year.

The thing about catching up to your dreams is they will lead you down the rabbit hole.

When I was fourteen, I had never thought to make my dreams a career I just wanted to do it. Now that I have done it, now I want to become known for my works of art.

I want to sell one million or more copies of a book. I want to have my songs downloaded a million times or more.

Even with that sort of success, the ultimate dream is to help others do the same.

I have always wanted to be a teacher, to liberate the young and old minds alike.

Today's technology makes this all the more attainable, all we have to do is reach out.

What good is a book without a reader what good is a song without someone to listen to it? What good is a teacher if there is no one to teach?

You Already Know the Answer

Passing by the magazines whether they be in the library, bookstore, grocery store, etc., I always get drawn in by the leading articles.

The perusing of the magazine headline articles has been a tradition of mine from my earlier ages. I have to admit the Magazines that caught my eye when I was 10 and the ones that caught my eye when I turned 20 are completely different. And now that I am at the halfway mark of my life, I will admit once again the attention getters and what excites my interest are even more different.

Today I notice once again my interest has changed, I took note of the headlines “How To Get To $1 Million” and “You Can Make A Million” were the attention getters. Usually, I would grab the magazines and speed read through the articles even take a few notes. I did not have the same feeling of euphoria, as usual, this time I saw these attention getters differently. How so?

Bluntly, I already knew the answer.

Earn, Save, Invest

Just like that the need to read through the articles and take notes disappeared, the euphoria just evaporated.

You too, already know the answer.

Earn - We have to make money through a job, our own business, or the good graces of a dying relative.

Save - We have to save, the fact is, we can never spend our way to a million dollars.

Invest - We have to double, triple, our money and get it working for us. These investment vehicles could be stocks, real estate, creating the latest gadget or some other noteworthy asset.

Here is the futility in knowing the answer to the magazine articles listed above. The majority of us will never reach the toted milestone. Do not let me pop your bubble because in truth it is a lot easier to become a millionaire today than it has ever been.

Financial Independence for One Year

Financial Freedom, the one year experience is coming to an end, such a wonderful euphoria that now fuels my desire for a lifetime of money free anxieties. Most people use their savings to buy a new house, new car, to take a vacation, and the list goes on. I used my savings to buy myself one year of freedom from the stress and anxiety of worrying about my finances.

Financial Freedom is not automatic, and it is not for everyone. You cannot save, invest, work harder or do any of the other stock answers you have heard and achieve financial security.

Unless of course, you take the one step most people never consider.

Just wanting, dreaming, chanting about being financially free, will not help either.

To achieve this illustrious fable, you must take the all important first step.

I have spent the last year in this state of bliss, and let me tell you it has been an eye opening experience. Sad to say my time is running out, but now I know how it feels and exactly what was needed to be able to experiment with this holy grail of financial knowledge, bliss, and status.

Imagine not having to worry about having enough money, bills not getting paid, whether or not the car breaks down, or having enough to eat.

Please understand I had only bought back one year of financial freedom. I did this to focus on my writing and learn a new trade (I am thankful that money was not an object).

Now, even more so, I am looking forward to the time when I can truly claim the title Financial Independence.

I would not have been able to live the dream of financial freedom without first taking the one crucial step needed to take a year and do whatever my heart desired.

That is why I have written the eBook 1 Step to Financial Independence.

Financial independence is a distant planet, a planet 99 percent of us will never visit. In a galaxy far away, in a solar system still expanding and growing out of our reach.

"You have the most beautiful blue eyes, when I look into them I see nothing but clear skies."

"That might have worked except you do not have blue eyes."

"Exactly so go and practice your craft on another damsel in distress."

"Wow, I know we are standing in the cold food section,"...

"Take a hint, and go practice your standup routine on someone who likes a comedian and a joker."

While he walked away he took one last look, certain that his prey was in some way interested in him.

Looking down at his cart and taking inventory, he concluded that he had everything he had come for.

Making his way to the checkout line he could not shake the feeling that someone was watching him. He could not help but to whisper to himself, "The shoe is on the other foot."

He decided to play it cool and keep his composure, trying to catch the culprits reflection in the window, "Are you in for a long night,” speaking to the cashier.

"No, quitting time is only a few hours away, then it will be a White Zinfandel night."

Watching the digital display as the total continued to rise in value while keeping constant vigilance of his surroundings, he continued to make small talk. "Will you be having your Zin by yourself or is there a significant other?"

"I see you are still practicing your trade."

"Are you looking for some company?" The cashier decided to play along although she knew the handsome stranger was just being friendly.

Turning to his heckler, he asked. “Yes, so, you are ready to hear my spiel now? Have you had a change of heart? Or are you just stalking me?"

"I see you found yourself a blue-eyed surprise," the heckler continued.

Turning back to the cashier he looked into the cashier's eyes. "Very perceptive, Watson,” while looking quickly over his right shoulder and then back to the cashier. “You have the bluest eyes and all I can see is clear skies."

"You had me at Zin, so where is the party." The cashier was certainly flattered.

"Don't forget beautiful, Casanova." The heckler chimed in.

"I will be back for my finally performance tomorrow night." While handing the cashier cash to settle his balance.

“No, I don’t think so, I already had the repeat performance. Still not impressed." The heckler appeared not to be at all interested.

“Well, doll face, I am impressed. Please come again." The cashier could not take her eyes off of the man cake.

"I could grow on you, you really do not know what you are missing." As he rolled his cart out of the door.

Later that evening… continue to The Bluest Eyes

When someone is telling you a funny, sad, personal story. You may hear  words but if somewhere in the story, you do not start visualizing what is being said. You truly will have lost the real reason the story was being told.

The next time you or someone close to you tell a story, express their deep inner feelings, converse with you on their future endeavors, look into their eyes and try to see with your minds eye what they are saying.

What about you, if you are striving to achieve financial freedom, want to by a new car, looking to purchase a your first house, start a business, become the vice president of your company. Your words need to be backed up by your vision.

If you can see what you truly desire, if you see the vision before anyone else, there is nothing you cannot achieve.

Where are you going? and, How are you going to get there?

A husband wakes up one Saturday morning at five am takes a shower, shaves, brushes his teeth, gets dress, kisses his wife on the cheek and rushes out the door.

The wife is a little confused as she watched the husbands usual but unusual behavior. She looks at the calendar and takes a mental note of the day. "It is Saturday," she says to herself. She notice her husband left the keys to the car on the table.

Making her way to the front door with keys in her hand, she steps on to the front porch. She watches her husband standing at the car feeling his pockets. While she dangles the keys from her finger tips.

She ask, "Where are you going?"

"To work." Facing the car He shouts back without turning his head.

"How are you going to get there?" She playfully returns a coy response.

"The same way I always do." Shaking his head.

"Okay, but how are you going to get there," she asked again.

"In this car," still not looking at her.

"Yes, but how are you going to get there?" Not letting him off the hook.

"I am going to take a right out of the driveway, then a left onto Same Old Story Road, drive a couple of miles, take a right onto Broken Back Avenue and a right onto Pain In My Butt Boulevard. Anymore questions." His annoyance was now fully revealed.

"What do you plan to do when you get there?" She presses the unlock button on the key remote.

The car beeps and the locks disengage.

The husband finally turns and holds out his hands.

The wife tosses the keys to him and he catches them, turns and opens the door and starts to get in the car.

"You know that it is Saturday right? The wife smiled.

"Why of course..." he stops, looks at his phone's calendar.

"You have never worked a Saturday and the office is not even open on Saturday's." She turned and walked into the house, expecting her husband to follow shortly.

You maybe all prepared to go and have a plan. You may know where you are going, and how you are going to get there.

Sometimes we are so caught up in the same routine, so absorbed in what we do each day that we fail to turn and catch the keys.
